Indoor Sunbeams III

This painting shows late winter sunlight in the kitchen of my home. It is part of a series of four uplifting paintings that feature the first rays of light shining into the house in late winter, as the sun begins its return for spring. These interludes are quiet contemplative moments about the journey of light through the seasons.

This is an original painting study. Even if you’ve just got a small corner of wall, there are a number of little gems to choose from!

Details

Acrylic on watercolour paper, 9” x 12”

Titled and signed in pencil by the artist beneath the work.

Custom matted in a white mat and ready-to-frame in a standard 12×16” frame.

I love studies for the life and energy they capture! They show the thought process of the artist and have an intimacy and immediacy to them that finished studio work sometimes doesn’t. They are also a very affordable way to collect original works of art!

Wouldn’t you love this little one-of-a-kind painting?
