Reflected Sunrise (Broad Cove, Nova Scotia). This painting shows a house that looks out over the beach toward the Atlantic ocean in Broad Cove, along Nova Scotia’s South Shore. Its windows catch the first rays of morning sunrise as clouds clear and skies turn blue for the day ahead.
This original painting is part of the Poetry of Place Collection which celebrates the harmonious beauty of Nova Scotia’s South Shore. Paintings in this collection focus on a quiet, poetic interpretation of the homes, gardens, and coastal landscape that surround my studio… and the light that illuminates this place.
You can read the story behind the collection, or view all available paintings in the shop.
Acrylic on 10” x 10” cradled wood panel, framed in a clear-finished floater frame.
Signed in the lower corner of the painting.
Beautifully custom framed in a contemporary floater frame. Hangs flush to the wall with a concealed wire.
As an original piece of art, it is truly one-of-a-kind! If you love it, I hope you will collect the painting for your wall, so it can give you that same feeling over and over for years.
